Teaching Artistry
I graduated from Community Word Project's (CWP) Teaching Artist Project (TAP) in May 2017.
CWP's Teaching Artist Project (TAP) entails a rigorous, 30-week curriculum designed to prepare practicing artists to transfer their talent to the classroom and provides supervised on-the-job experience with classroom teachers.
I have learned many concepts including some of the following:

Lesson plan design, curriculum development

Classroom mangement techniques, co-teaching / co-planning.

I have attended seminars on select topics such as teaching art in alternative populations and teaching in after-school settings.
Internship with TAP
I also interned at P.S. 279 Captain Manuel Rivera. Jr school in the Bronx with CWP mentors/teaching artists: Scott Lily Thomas and Mary Cinadr.
