B.A.S.E. Concept
The concept I created for these sessions is called B.A.S.E.
Breakdown: I annotate your pieces in advance of meeting, I make notes, deconstruct poetry Jereni-Sol style.
Analyze: I present my notes to the poet. (Based on my opinions & background education - college & teaching artist certificate)
Share: We have a conversation! We go beneath the surface of the page and dive into the poem. I will ask you questions, you can share your insight. (Expand literary value)
Evolve: (Developing the natural talent & writing style of artist) We may come across new discoveries during the session, I provide ideas, advice feedback, new poem topics or highlighting new elements to try. I can provide and create personalized exercises or mini games based on what you want to do next.

First Session Free. 40 mins - Review 1 poem
Additional Sessions. $10 for 1 hour - Review 1 or 2 poems
Want an extra 30 mins? +$5.00.
All sessions will be on Zoom.
Clients will pay for session via Eventbrite.

Education: I have taken college level poetry classes. I have taken several poetry writing workshops. I have earned my Teaching Artist Certificate.

Teacher: I taught a poetry class at an elementary school and taught poetry 101 with ESOL adults students.

Experience: I am the founder of Poetry on Demand. I have been hosting PoD workshops for 7 years and counting. I also hosted PoD Outreach - Facilitated sessions at other organizations - YASP & Haus of Expression.
